Mission Statement

The purposes of the New Generation Access Society Service (NGASS) are:

• To promote artistic, literacy, educational and charitable activities for the benefit of its members and the community at-large. ===* To educate the public about prevention of racism and discrimination, by offering courses, seminars, festivals, conferences and meetings and by collecting and disseminating information on that topic.
• To provide support services to seniors and youth.
• To promote equality among all its members through the practice and promotion of nondiscriminatory and non-judgmental –(discrimination and racism prevention)
• To provides services to immigrants and Refugee for interpretation, integration, and holistic approach.
• To raising, receiving, acquiring and hold fund, donations and gift for supporting the purposes.
• To working in collaboration with community agencies and other NGOs
  • Generally, to take and exercise all the powers, rights and privileges of or appertaining to a society as provided in the Society Act of the Province of British Columbia, and generally to carry on such business as the Directors of the Society from time to time deem necessary, proper and lawful in accordance with the objects of the society as herein set out, and in accordance with the provisions of the Societies Act
  • The purpose will be carried out on exclusively charitable basis. This provision is unalterable in accordance with the Societies Act.
  • On the winding up or dissolution of this society, funds or assets remaining, after all debts been paid, shall be transferred to a charitable institution with a similar purpose to those of this society, or, if this is recognized by Revenue Canada as qualified under the provision of the Income Tax Act of Canada. This provision is unalterable is unalterable in accordance with the Societies Act.
  • The purpose of the society shall be carried out without purpose of gain of its members, and any profit or other accretions to the society shall be used for promoting its purpose. This provision is unalterable in accordance with the Societies Act.
